John Kanzius, a MD, had leukemia himself. John Kanzius invented a machine to kill leukemia’s cells.

John Kanzius invented the radio-frequency generator after his own chemotherapy. Now, cancer patients can have blood samples treated with the John Kanzius machine as a research project.

John Kanzius’ name is sometimes mis-spelt as John Kansas since the pronounciation is about the same.
