John Hughes, 59, a director, died after a heart attack. Hughes went for a morning walk in Manhattan. Hughes suffered a heart attack during his walk and died. Hughes lived in Illinois and was visiting his family in Manhattan when he passed away.

John Hughes was best known for his movies about teenagers. Hughes opened the eyes of the world when he made “Pretty in Pink”, “Sixteen Candles”, “The Breakfast Club”, and “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off”.
