John Forte: Forte pardoned by President George W Bush

John Forte, a rapper who has been imprisoned since 2000, has been pardoned by President George W. Bush. Here are some videos of John Forte, just in case you have forgotten about his music.

John Forte was sentenced for smuggling $1.4 million liquid coke. Carly Simon and her son, Ben Taylor, have been lobbying for the release of John Forte. Forte was friends with Ben Taylor and had been a backup singer for Carly Simon. Forte will be free on Dec. 22, 2008. Forte will have 5 years of supervised probation. Forte's original sentence was 14 years.
