Cynthia Dziurgot, a lawyer, has disappeared. Cynthia Dziurgot was due to pay her ex husband in a divorce settlement of nearly $1 million. Dziurgot is a respected lawyer in her community in Clinton.

Dziurgot was married to John Farnsworth for about 10 years before he filed for divorce on Jan. 16, 1996. In Jan 2008, the judge granted Farnsworth the divorce and ruled on the settlement.

Dziurgot filed for bankruptcy protection instead of paying Farnsworth. In Dec 2008, Dziurgot was jailed briefly. Dziurgot’s properties are in receivership and will be sold soon. Dziurgot’s lawyer claimed she could not pay for Farnsworth’s settlement. Farnsworth is an independent engineer.

Dziurgot’s sister, Dolores Karpeichik, 69, denied knowing the whereabouts of her sister.
