Wade Edwards died in 2006 in a car accident. Wade Edwards was sixteen years old when he died. Young Edwards was in a jeep on the highway driving towards the family beqach home when a gust of wind blew his jeep off the road. Wade Edwards was the son of Elizabeth Edwards and John Edwards.

Elizabeth Edwards and John Edwards had not been actively speaking about their son’s death. The Edwards have slowly broached on the subject as Elizabeth’s cancer became serious. Both Elizabeth and John Edwards have dealt with death and were prepared to face the issue.
