Joey Strong, 35,of Ausable Forks, worked as a basketball coach for girls in Holy Name School in Ausable Forks. She worked as a volunteer for 8 years in the school. Strong was charged with giving alcohol to a male teen and having sex with the boy.

Joey Strong was charged with third degree rape, endangering the welfare of a child and unlawful dealing with a child.

Strong was accused of engaging in a sexual act with the boy in a hotel in Queensbury on March 30 2009. Strong was accused of giving Coors Light beer to several minors at the Comfort Suites of the hotel. Joey Strong was alleged to have sex with the male teen on the same night of March 30, 2009.
