Joel Baudouin, 42, of Arlington, Mass., was killed in a car accident. Joel Baudouin was driving his family of his mother and 2 daughters when he fell asleep at the wheel of his car. Baudouin fell asleep along the Garden State Parkway in Bloomfield, N.J. Baudouin ran off the road and crashed into a tree. Baudouin’s accident happened at 1 am, Thur., Dec. 25. Police were not absolutely sure what happened but this was the version of events until investigations reveal more.

Joel Baudouin and his mother, Marie Vernet, 70, died on the spot. When Baudouin’s car crashed into the tree, it toppled over the vehicle. Baudouin’s daughters; Rachele Baudouin, 13, and Cassies Baudouin, 8, had minor injuries and were warded in hospital. The children were seated in the backseat of the car.
