Joe Son, aka Joseph Hyungmin Son, was arrested on Oct. 7. Joe Son was a UFC veteran who was once popular with MMA fans. Joe Son was arrested in Huntington Beach, Ca. Joe Son was charged for a rape that occurred on Dec. 24, 1990. Joe Son gave his DNA sample when he incurred a probation violation on a vandalism charge. Police are still looking for a second assailant for the Dec. 24, 1990 rape.

Joe Son was once an actor. Joe Son played Random Task, in the first Austin Powers movie.

Joe Son was charged with forcible rapes, sodomy, oral copulations, sexual penetration by foreign object, kidnapping, use of firearm and bodily injury to the sexual assault victim. Joe Son will face serious sentences f he is convicted. Joe Son, 39 may face a mzximum sentence of 275 years to life imprisonment. Joe Son’s bail was set at $1 million.
