Joe Scarborough: Scarborough’s “Morning Joe” has seven second delay
By Therese Lisieux on November 13th, 2008Joe Scarborough, who dropped the F word bomb live on air Monday, Nov. 10, will have a seven second delay between his utterances and the live transmission. This special arrangement applies only to Scarborough’s “Morning Joe” show on MSNBC. This is supposed to allow editing of the audio tape should a need arise.
Joe Scarborough, a Republican, made a vehement F word slip while he was talking about Rahm Emanuel, the newly elected White House Chief of Staff for the President Elect, Barack Obama. Joe Scarborough apologized profusely. Scarborough wanted to ensure that being a Republican, he did not want to be seen as intentionally dissing the Democrat. Previously, a former MSNBC host, Don Imus, also had a 7 second delay for his show.
