Edwin Pellecier, 10, and Jesse Ramirez, 7, died on Dec. 26. Pellecier and Ramirez were cousins who were attacked randomly by a man. Pellecier and Ramirez were playing in a park in Phoenix when Joe Sauceda Gallegos hit them.

Gallegos’ uncle said he was diagnosed as a schizophrenic. Gallegos said he killed his sons in the attic 6 months ago but police failed to find the dead bodies. Gallegos’ sons live with their mother in Colorado. Gallegos has been arrested and charged with first degree murder.
