Joe Francis, the founder of “Girls Gone Wild”, was arrested and detained in L.A, on Monday, Feb 2. Joe Francis was 5 hours late for a court hearing in his tax evasion case.

Joe Francis showed up late and told his judge he had the ‘flu. Francis was handcuffed and detained by US Marshals.The court hearing on Monday was a request from his lawyers.

Francis has pleaded not guilty to two counts of federal tax evasion. Francis was accused of claiming money on fake business expenses on his corporate tax returns
