Jodi Sanderholm, 19, died of strangulation. Sanderholm’s body was found on Jan 9 2007 in Kansas. Justin Thurber, 25, is accused of killing Sanderholm. The medical coroner gave evidence that Sanderholm showed signs of strangulation, beatings, rape and sodomy. Sanderholm’s body cavities were filled with sticks, leaves and debris.

Justin Thurber denied ever being inside Joodi Sanderholm’s car. Forensic science revealed Thurber’s hair was found inside Sanderholm’s car. Sanderholm’s fingernail clippings were sent to a lab for testing. The results will be released at a later date.
