Joan Prather, an actress who played Janet McArthur Bradford on “Eight Is Enough”, was arrested. Joan Prather was charged with hit-and-run last weekend. Joan Prather was accused of hitting and running away after an LA County Sheriff’s deputy got entangled on her car.

Joan Prather drove past barricades and cones meant for the safety of participants in the Malibu Triathlon. Joan Prather did not stop when the deputy ordered her to halt. Michael Raines, the deputy, had his watch entangled in Joan Prather ‘s car and he had to run along her car for about 20 feet. Thankfully, Raines’ colleagues stopped Prather’s car. Raines was treated at the hospital for a sprained arm. Prather was arrested and later released on a $50,000 bail.
