Joan Cunnane, 77, was found dead in her home. Joan Cunnane’s friend had called in the police as he failed to locate her in her cluttered house. There were mountains of possessions stacked up to the ceiling. Police had to remove the things before they found Cunnane’s body. Cunnane was buried under a pile of clothing. An autopsy revealed Joan Cunnane may have died of pneumonia.

Joan Cunnane loved to shop and she may have shopped compulsively and excessively. Her home had so many possessions it was difficult to walk through it.

Joan Cunnane had many friends. They have voiced out their regrets that they missed seeing the signs that Ms Cunnane might have needed their help.
