Updated November 3 – Jim Nantz has to pay $916 000 per year for divorcing his wife, Ann-Lorraine “Lorrie” Carlsen Nantz. Nantz must pay Ann-Lorraine $72K per month until his death or until Ms Nantz re-marries.

October 18 2009 – Jim Nantz, 50, is divorcing his wife, Lorrie Nantz. Jim and Lorrie weer married 26 years ago. Nantz works for CBS as a sportscaster and his earning potential is above $7 million yearly.

Jim Nantz said their marriage broke down because of Lorrie’s lavish spending and her lack of support for his broadcasting career. Nantz said he has a girlfriend after meeting her in May 2008. Nantz claimed Lorrie spent $1 million in shopping during a period of 9 years.

Jim Nantz stressed that he had his extra-marital affair only after accepting that his marriage had already broken down irretrievably.

Lorrie Nantz wants their family home in Connecticut, alimony, plus $1.5 million per year in child support for their daughter, Caroline Nantz, 15 years old.
