Jim Leyritz was arrested on Thursday, July 2. Leyritz, a former New York Yankee baseball player, was arrested on suspicion of domestic battery. Leyritz allegedly fought with his wife Karrie Leyritz.

Karrie Leyritz told police her version of the story while they checked with the Leyritz children. Police discovered Karrie Leyritz had been drinking the night before the incident.
