Jill Sobule wants to raise $75,000 to sponsor her next record. Even before Sobule has a record to sell, she wants fans to come up with the capital for her to start recording.

Usually, a singer would have used the previous profit from past earnings to finance the next recording. Sobule said she never made a cent from her previous records. Sobule blamed herself for not selling enough records.

Sobule has recently become a free agent. This may explain why she has to start from scratch. Sobule’s fund raiser for her record is at jillsnextrecord.com. Relax, Jill Sobule has made it with her goal. Sobule collected $75,000 in 6 weeks. Sobule revealed Fred Savage, the actor, donated $100.
