Jewel and Nancy O’Dell have withdrawn their names from “Dancing with the Stars” (DWTS). Jewel had a knee injury that was sustained during rehearsals. Jewel has fractured tibia in both legs. O’Dell has a torn meniscus and requires surgery to repair her leg.

Jewel and Nancy O’Dell will be replaced and the new contestants will be announced on Monday, March 9, on ABC’s “Dancing with the Stars” season 8 premiere.
