Jewel Kilcher, 34, and Ty Murray, 38, got married in Bahamas, on Thursday, August 7, 2008. Ty Murray is a celebrated rodeo champ. Jewel, of course, is the singer.

Due to the fact that Jewel went away to Bahamas to get married to Ty Murray, some jokes circulated on how Jewel eloped to Bahamas to get married to Ty Murray. Jewel is above 21 and does not need permission to get married so that was not an elopement.
