Jesus Ruben Moncada, suspected killer of Ensenada massacre
By Clarencia Cynrae on August 25th, 2008Jesus Ruben Moncada was accused of the mass murders of 19 women, men and children in a drug battle called the Ensenada massacre. The Ensenada massacre happened 10 years ago around 1998. Jesus Ruben Moncada was arrested outside his house in east Los Angeles.
Jesus Ruben Moncada was arrested on Thursday, August 21. Jesus Ruben Moncada was then handed over to Mexico’s federal government at Tijuana crossing on Friday, August 22. Jesus Ruben Moncada belonged to “El Guerro Loco”, a gang from Felix Arellano. This gang operated along the Mexico-US border.
Jesus Ruben Moncada was accused of first degree murder, attempted murder and kidnapping charges in Mexico. 19 people were killed as part of a drug turf war. Jesus Ruben Moncada was acused of being the leader of some members of the Felix Arellano gang who went to the ranch near Ensenada and killed the 19 victims.
