Jessica Muniz & “Biggest Loser” trainer Anthony Badalamenti were arrested

Anthony Badalamenti, 31, was arrested and charged with second degree assault possession of a dangerous weapon and endangering the welfare of a child. Anthony Badalamenti is a personal trainer. Badalamenti was featured on TV’s “The Biggest Loser”, for assisting a police officer lose weight. Badalamenti’s weight loss programs and workout pprograms were famous at that time.

Badalamenti is now accused of beating his girlfriend’s son, aged 6, with weightlifting belts.

Anthony Badalamenti’s girlfriend, Jessica Muniz, 29, was also charged with similar charges. Both Anthony Badalamenti and Jessica Muniz are held in jail. Anthony Badalamenti was given $100K bond or $50,000 cash bail. The landlord, Joe Salerno, said he heard the boy crying for help. Salerno called the police.

Police arrived and when no one answered the door, they broke the door down. Police found the boy in his room crying and he had injuries like bruises and cuts. The boy was treated at a hospital. After his discharge, he was transferred to be cared for by a relative.
