Where is Jesse James treasure? The Jesse James treasure is a legend. Jesse James was a famous legend, being an outlaw who rumored accumulated much cash and treasure during his life time of crimes. Many people have searched long and hard for the alleged treasure of Jesse James but so far, no one has claimed to have found any. James was rumored to have left behind some treasure maps but none have been found to lead to treasure.

Jesse James was killed in Missouri in 1882. James was allegedly killed by Bob Ford. However, Ron Pastore has done research on Jesse James and disagreed that James died in 1882.

Pastore believed James died in Kansas. Pastore claimed James faked his own death and lived to the ripe old age of 88 in 1935, in southeast Kansas. James allegedly buried his treasure in the prairies.

Pastore appeared in the documentary called “Jesse James Hidden Treasure” to talk about his theory that James hid the remainder of his money away. James couldn’t spend all of his money while he was alive and not all the stolen loot was recovered so Pastore thought there could be some Jesse James hidden treasure out somewhere.

Jesse James treasure map was supposed to be on a cowhide. The James treasure was supposed to be in Cutthroat Gap, in northwest Comanche County in Oklahoma.

The exact spot is a sealed cave in Horse Thief Corral. Look for an old log cabin and a tree nearby. There is a Winchester rifle mounted in the forked branches of the tree. From the point of this rifle and the black streak on the summit of Mount Pinched, there is a sealed cave.

Treasure hunters had allegedly found all the landmarks on the map. They found the log cabin, the Winchester rifle, and the black streak. However, they couldn’t find any sealed cave.

Jesse James was allegedly one of the Knights of the Golden Circle, a secret society. James was rumored to have used his loot to fund his society and its activities.

A group of private treasure hunters claimed they know the location of Jesse James treasure. They are waiting for the right time to go in with their metal detectors and start digging. The men refused to discuss about the location of the spot for fear of other gatecrashers rushing them to it.

Some independent treasure hunters claimed Jesse James left behind cryptic messages carved on trees and some were even manipulated to bend to show directions. The symbols were cryptic and difficult to decipher to get the distances and specific directions.

In the film, Bill Armstrong acted as Frank James, Jeff Elsey was playing Jesse James and Jeff Prechtel acted as Cole Younger.

Jesse James is the name of Jesse James Hollywood, a convicted killer. Jesse James is also the name of Sandra Bullock’s husband.
