Jerry Wexler RIP

Jerry Wexler, a famous record producer, died at home in Sarasota, Florida, on Aug. 15, 2008. Jerry Wexler died of congenital heart failure. Jerry Wexler was 91.

Jerry Wexler was a pioneer in Rhythm and Blue music, (R&B music). Jerry Wexler produced recordings of Aretha Franklin, Ray Charles and other great singers. Jerry Wexler helped to shape their careers.
