Jerry Fuchs, a drummer, has died. Fuchs passed away on Sunday, November 8. Jerry Fuchs, 34, was in a building, attending a party, held at the loft of a converted old factory, when he met with his fatal accident. Fuchs was in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, for the party organized by the Uniform Project.

Jerry Fuchs died after he fell 5 floors down an elevator shaft. Fuchs and his friend were in an elevator when it stalled near the fifth floor. Fuchs’ friend succeeded in jumping out of the elevator to the fifth level. Fuchs tried to jump too but his clothing got caught and he fell down.

Fuchs landed inside the shaft and was unconscious. Fuchs was sent to hospital where he died on Sunday, Nov 8.

Fuchs was the drummer for several bands like the Vineland, Turning Machine, !!!, Juan MacLean and Maserati.

Jerry Fuchs left behind his parents, brother and two sisters.
