Jerome Barrett & Marcia Trimble: Barrett guilty for Trimble death (video)
By Clarencia Cynrae on July 15th, 2009Updated July 18 – Jerome Barrett has been convicted of second degree murder of Marcia Trimble. Trimble went missing while she was sending cookies to homes in her neighborhood in Nashville.
Jerome Barrett is serving life in prison for raping and killing a student of Vanderbilt University.
For Marcia Trimble’s death, Jerome Barrett will face 44 years for each count. Barrett was convicted based on DNA evidence found on Trimble’s clothing.
When Barrett is sentenced, it will be determined whether his new sentences will run consecutively after his previous sentencing, or if the new sentence will run concurrently.
Marcia Trimble, 9, was killed by choking in Green Hills, Nashville, Tennessee, more than 30 years ago. Jerome Barrett will be tried for the death of Marcia Trimble.
Jerome Barrett has also been accused of killing Des Prez.
