Loaiza said the wedding was scheduled on a Wednesday, instead of on a weekend, because their wedding guests had commitments on weekends. Their wedding partyb guests included Pepe Aguilar, la Banda El Recodo, Marco Antonio Solís, El Buki, as well as their relatives and friends.

Security for Rivera and Loaiza’s wedding is tight. Guests are banned from using their cell phones to take pictures. Wedding guests have to come early, at least an hour before Mass, and register their names. Children are not permitted to be in the wedding party.

Later, the misunderstanding was cleared up and Rivera bravely apologized to Paz. She made amends to him by giving him a VIP invitation to one of her concerts.
