Jenny Grant, a model, committed suicide after a dispute with her friends at a party. Grant had broken up with her boyfriend earlier. On September 13, 2008, Grant was found dead in her home.

Jenny Grant was a first year student at Lancaster University. Grant had ambitions of becoming a model. Grant had returned home after drinking and reached home at 1 am. Grant called her friend, Kevin Walsh. Walsh called police as he was concerned about her welfare. Police arrived at Grant’s home and found her hanging at the hallway. The medical examiner concluded Grant died from hanging. Grant was said to be depressed prior to her death.

The inquest ruled that Jenny Grant died by hanging but her intent remained unclear. Grant’s mother, Lynn, said she could not get over Jenny’s death. There is a longer story with photos at the link.
