Jennifer Hudson is engaged to David Otunga, of “I Love New York 2.” Jennifer told the story of her engagement. You can see Jennifer Hudson’s large diamond engagement ring here. Otunga, aka Punk, brought her to the beach and gave Hudson a purple shovel.

Hudson explained the shovel was purple because Otunga knew that was her favorite color. Otunga told Hudson he was going to blindfold her eyes. He told Hudson to dig and dig she did. Hudson found a bunch of cards. The cards had messages for Hudson and they were like a chain of messages that were related. The last message for Hudson was to turn around for her gift. Jennifer Hudson was surprised with an engagement ring.
