Jeffrey Hill, 44, was a convict on death row in Ohio. Hill’s death sentence has been overturned by Ohio Gov. Ted Strickland. Hill was sentenced for killing his mother when he was in rage influenced by cocaine.

Hill’s family opposed the death sentence because they said they had suffered enough. The Ohio Parole Board recommended Jeffrey Hill be pardoned and released from prison one day.
