Jefferson City hostage is an unconfirmed report and may be a hoax. A call to the Missouri police said a gunman was holding hostages in the Governor Office Building, which was two blocks away from the Governor’s Mansion. The Jefferson City hostage situation was allegedly in this building, where the Missouri Public Service Commission (PSC) is located.

Police sad they have searched but couldn’t find the alleged gunman or gunman holding hostages. They are investigating the possibility that the call was a hoax.

There are 9 floors in the building and the entire building went into a lockdown. Police evacuated the one floor at a time while they searched for the gunman and hostages.
