Jeff Rosato, 32, a high level aide to California Democrat Senator Barbara Boxer, has been fired. Jeff Rosato was fired after it was known that he was charged for receiving and distributing child pornography. Rosato was arrested on Friday, Nov. 7. Rosato appeared in court in Virginia on Wed., Nov. 12.

The judge released Jeff Rosato to home detention. The conditions were not to use a computer or interact with kids. Rosato was ordered to get medical treatment. Sen. Barbara Boxer’s spokeswoman released a statement to say that Rosato was fired because Sen. Boxer has zero tolerance for crimes against children. Jeff Rosato was snared in an undercover sting operation. FBI undercover special agent Chad Gallagher masqueraded as a 13 year old boy and received 600 files of porn images.
