Jeff Olsen is a waste management driver. Olsen said he collects American flags which were not disposed off properly. Olsen has rescued 250 American flags in 18 months. His office collects them to fill a large container before delivering them to incinerators to be burned.

Olsen will be honored by the American Legion Post 57 and Elks Lodge 737, on Flag Day. That will be this Sunday, June 14.
