Jeanie Bryson, newly widowed wife of Coleman Mellet, has cancelled her show, The Jeanie Bryson Show. Bryson’s show was scheduled on Saturday, Feb 14, at The Hopewell Bistro’s Starlight Room in Trenton, New Jersey. Bryson mourns the passing of Mellet.

Bryson’s husband, Coleman Mellet, was killed when his plane, Flight 3407, landed on a house in Bauffalo. All 49 on board were killed. Coleman Mellet and Gerry Niewood were flying to Buffalo for a gig with Chuck Mangione. Niewood was on board Flight 3407 too.

Jeanie Bryson (singer) is the daughter of Connie Bryson (songwriter) and Dizzy Gillespie. (jazz player)
