JC Romero has tested positive for a banned supplement. Romero will be punished with suspension of 50 games for next season. Romero, the Phillies reliever, claimed he bought the supplement over the counter at a nutrition store. Romero assumed the supplement was legal. JC Romero will lose $1.25 million in salary as a consequence of the suspension of 50 games.
