November 19 – Jayson Williams will plead guilty on Friday, November 20, to the charge on reckless manslaughter. Williams shot Costas “Gus” Christofi, 55, on February 12, 2002. Williams had fired his gun at his home in New Jersey.

Williams is likely to be sentenced to a maximum of 3 years. Bsed on that, Williams may serve 18 months before he can be eligible for parole.

May 25 2009 – Jayson Williams, a former NBA player, was arrested Monday, May 25. Williams was charged for assault after he punched someone outside a nightclub in Raleigh. Williams allegedly punched a person after 2 am on May 25. Williams was charged with assault and released with a $1000 bond.

Jayson Williams, a former player for New Jersey Net, got the cops called on him. A woman dialed emergency about Williams at 4:28 am. She told Williams was causing a disturbance. The woman claimed Williams had used alcohol or prescription drugs.

Police arrived at the hotel room to find empty prescription drug bottles at the scene. Jayson Williams was upset and police tasered him. Officers handcuffed Williams and sent him to St Vincent’s hospital for observation. Williams has to stay overnight on Monday, April 27 for observation.

Jayson Williams’ lawyer is on damage control. He said Williams was not suicidal. The attorney claimed Williams did not know about his alleged suicide attempt. Williams was at the hospital for a medical condition. For the record, Jayson Williams was not arrested.

Jayson Williams, a former NBA player, is being sued for divorce from his estranged wife, Tanya Young Williams. Williams claimed she was victimized by bad treatment. Tanya Williams claimed she felt unsafe to live with Jayson Williams.

Tanya Williams filed her divorce lawsuit in NYC. Williams claimed Jayson used cocaine, condoms and Cialis, but they had limited sexual intercourse. Tanya Williams claimed Jayson faked stomach cancer and suicide. Jayson supposedly told her he preferred white women, threatened her, and threatened to kill her. Tanya Williams is asking for divorce, a share of Jayson’s assets, their NY matrimonial home, custody of their two children, spousal support and other needs.

Jayson Williams already has a big legal issue to handle. Williams is waiting a retrial for supposedly murdering his chauffeur by a fatal shooting.
