Jayne Campbell Soliman: Soliman’s baby born after she died (photos)

Jayne Soliman, of Bracknell, Berkshire, was brain dead for two days but kept on life support. Soliman was pregnant and doctors kept her heart beating after her brain haemorrhage made her brain dead.

Doctors pumped steroids to help develop her baby’s lungs before they cold perform a delivery via Caesarian section. Aya Jayne Soliman was born premature at 26 weeks.

Aya Jayne Soliman weighed 2 lbs 1 and ½ oz. Mahmoud Soliman became a widower just as he became a new father.

Jayne Campbell Soliman was the British Free Skating champion in 1989.Campbell Soliman was ranked seventh in the World Free Skating Champs. Campbell Soliman became a figure skating teacher who worked abroad for a spell. Campbell Soliman, 41, met Mahmoud Soliman, 29, during her working stint overseas in Abu Dhabi.

Jayne Soliman had been healthy throughout her pregnancy before she suffered a headache and sudden collapse. Doctors found an aggressive tumor that caused a brain haemorrhage.
