Jaymie Rose Darrow, 19, ex Poway High School student and University of California Santa Barbara student, died on July 19 2008. She had an accident at the campsite of La Jolla Indian Reservation near Palomar Mountain.

The autopsy report said Jaymie Rose Darrow could have died after being drunk and suffering a head injury. Jaymie Rose Darrow’s death was declared accidental. Jaymie Rose Darrow and 4 others had drinks and rode down the river using tubes. Jaymie Rose Darrow broke away from her group and told them she would rejoin them later at the campsite. By the time a passerby spotted Jaymie Rose Darrow, she had already drowned. The autopsy stated that Jaymie Rose Darrow may have hit her head when she fell and she was unconscious while drowning in the river.
