CNN interviewed Jay Shafer. Jay Shafer designs tiny houses called Tumbleweed Houses and his website is Tumbleweed Houses  It is a great video. For those who find 100 square feet too small, Jay Shafer also designs custom made tiny homes and tiny houses.

Bill Kastrinos is also like Jay Shafer. Bill Kastrinos designed down sized homes on wheels that can be pulled to park in any RV park in the US. Kastrinos also designs conventional homes on the ground, in tiny homes and tiny houses sizes. The client can order a customized home in a given size.
