Rielle Hunter may not top the list of America’s favorite people right now but she sure has a faithful ex boyfriend. Jay McInerney, an author, defended Rielle Hunter.

Jay McInerney’s opinion of John Edwards was not exactly good. Some of the choice words were “not chivalrous”, “half-assed confession”, “conventional.” McInerney recalled a year ago, Rielle Hunter spoke well of John Edwards, calling him a “terrific candidate and a terrific guy.”

In contrast, John Edwards made a public confession to declare that he slept with Rielle Hunter but did not love her.
