Jay McGwire, the younger brother of Mark McGwire, sold out and wrote a book detailing his elder brother’s steroid abuse. Jay McGwire has been shopping for a publisher to buy his book on how Mark McGwire used steroids and human growth hormone.

Jay McGwire has written a book proposal for his book, called “The McGwire Family Secret.” Jay McGwire said he used an insurance settlement from a BB gun accident to buy the expensive steroids. Jay McGwire was blinded in one eye in that BB gun accident.

Jay McGwire claimed he built himself into a 320 pound frame of a professional body builder. Mark McGwire was impressed and started using steroids too. Mark McGwire supposedly used low dosages of steroids to avoid becoming too bulky for baseball.

Jose Canseco had also claimed that Mark McGwire used steroids. Canseco said he injected Mark McGwire with steroids while they were team mates in the Oakland A’s.
