Janet Hubert, 53, the actress who played Aunt Viv on “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air”, has written her memoir called “Perfection Is Not A Sitcom Mom”. Hubert will release her book in 2010. Hubert blamed Will Smith, another actor in the same show, for sabotaging her career in The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.

Hubert dissed Smith as she claimed Smith was responsible for sabotaging her work. Consequently, Hubert was fired and replaced by Daphne Maxwell Reid. Hubert claimed she was dismissed because Smith’s aides did not want any actor or actress to outshine him.

Hubert heaped praise on Don Cheadle for his work in The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. Hubert said Cheadle escaped the axe and that allowed him to mature into a fine actor.
