Why was Jane Fonda in a wheel chair? Fonda, 71, was seen going through JFK Airport in NY, sitting in a wheelchair. Fonda will be 72 in December.

Jane Fonda revealed she was going through reconstructive surgery. Fonda intended to have operations on her back, knee and hip. Fonda may be impaired and in a wheelchair when she is in the midst of recovery from an operation.

Fonda gave the reason for wanting to be rebuilt. Fonda wants to climb the Himalayas!

Fonda allegedly has marriage on her cards too. Fonda may be marrying her boyfriend, Rchard Perry, 67, soon.
