Jamie Kellam Letson, 47, was arrested in a homeless shelter in Mississippi. Letson was arrested for the murder of Katherine Foster, then 18, and a student of University of South Alabama, in Mobile, Alabama. Katherine Foster died in Feb., 1980 but evidence surfaced only 5 years ago.

Twenty-eight years after the crime, police arrested Jamie Letson and she was charged on Wed., Nov. 19. Letson was held on $500,000 bond in Mobile County Metro Jail. The Sheriff and prosecution refused to elaborate on what evidence they had on Jamie Letson.
