By Therese Lisieux on June 29th, 2009The Jamie Foxx moonwalk was a tribute to Michael Jackson.Foxx wore a single right glove, red jacket, shiny belt, white socks and black shoes. Foxx performed a dance with some of Jackson’s signature moves.
Foxx said we should not care about what Jackson looked like but love him for his music. Foxx said Jackson was a great black man and “we have shared him” with the rest of the world.
Foxx did Jackson’s moonwalk the entire length of the stage. Foxx looked good but nowhere near the original moonwalk.
Foxx said that in New Orleans, folks celebrated a death by being happy or something like that. Foxx wanted people to celebrate the death by remembering the greatness of Jackson.
