James Vellanti: What happened to James Vellanti

What happened to James Vellanti? James P Vellanti, 42, fell down from an escalator at Pier Shops, at Caesars, a mall, in Atlantic City. Vellanti fell from the height of 30 – 40 feet. Vellanti was between the 2nd and 3rd levels when he fell to his death.

James Vellanti was the Chief Operating Officer (COF) of JNF Asset Management LLC. This JNF is a hedge fund company. Vellanti used to work for banks before he worked in JNF.

The Pier Shops earlier had a similar death from a fall in around August 2008. Frank Gilbert, 25, of Galloway Township, sat on the moving handrail of the escalator at Piers Shops. Gilbert fell from the height of 40 feet. Gilbert’s cause of death was head injuries.
