James Earl Taylor, 40, and Mary S Childers, 44, a couple living on Pass Road, Bedford County, were arrested. Taylor and Childers were arrested on domestic assault charges.

One of the couple called the Sheriff’s Department to ask for help. When a deputy arrived, he saw Childers and Taylor in a fight. Taylor and Childers were throwing Cheetos potato chips at each other. The officer arrested both Childers and Taylor as he could not determine who was the one started the food fight or quarrel.

Taylor and Childers each posted their separate bonds of $2500. They were released on the understanding their next appearance in court will be on July 15.
