James Long, 60, was found dead on the kitchen floor inside a house in Gerber, Calif., where he had barricaded himself. Police are investigating on the source of the bullet. Police need to know if Long committed suicide or he was hit by a police officer’s bullet.

James Long had barricaded himself in the house by setting up guns with stacks of loaded magazines at windows inside the house.

Police responded to a call on domestic disturbance from a woman resident of Gerber, Calif. The woman caller told police James Long was angry and began breaking things after she had unplugged the internet connection.

James Long shot a police officer in the knee. Police Officer David Madrigal took a shot in the knee. David Madrigal underwent surgery and doctors said he will recover.
