James Hoyt, ex-soldier in WW II, died
By Clarencia Cynrae on August 16th, 2008James Hoyt, one of the famous 4 soldiers who discovered the horrible Buchenwald concentration camp in World War 2, has died in his sleep. James Hoyt was then accredited as being one of the Nazi camp liberators. This James Hoyt is not the same James Hoyt rumored to be portrayed in the movie The Strangers. Hoyt family murders 2005
James Hoyt was 91 when he died. He spoke about his experiences looking at Buchenwald. Around 56,000 prisoners died at Buchenwald. After the war, James Hoyt returned to his Oxford and worked in the US Postal Service. James Hoyt retired in 1992.
James Hoyt is survived by his wife, Doris Hoyt, 6 children, 11 grandchildren, one Hoyt brother and one Hoyt sister.
