Five children were found dead in their home near Orting, Washington. The father of the kids committed suicide in a county near Orting. King County Sheriff’s Department asked Pierce County sheriff to checkout a mobile home in a trailer park after the father killed himself.

Four girls between the age of 8 to 16 were found dead. A boy, 7, was also dead. TV news reported the tragic discoveries in Orting, Washington, on Saturday, April 4.

The father was found dead in his car near Muckleshoot Casino in Auburn, 30 miles east of Seattle.

Ed Troyer, a spokesman for Pierce County Sheriff, said the crime scene was a domestic violence resulting in a murder-suicide. Police suspected the father killed his 5 children before he drove himself to another location and killed himself. The 5 children and the father all died of gunshot wounds. Four children were found dead in the bedroom while the fifth child was dead in the bathroom.

The mother of the children was not home at the time of the shootings. Police described her as being shocked and traumatized. The mother and father of the children were not estranged. Police are investigating and trying to piece together the events before the murders.

The father was identified as James Harrison and the children as Maxine Harrison, Samantha Harrison, Heather Harrison, Jamie Harrison and James Harrison II. James Harrison worked as a diesel mechanic, and the mother, Angela Harrison, worked at Wal-Mart.
