James Harlow & Damion Hobbs: Firefighters Harlow & Hobbs died (photo/ video)
By Clarencia Cynrae on April 12th, 2009Captain James Harlow, 50, and Damion Hobbs, 30, a rookie firefighter, died fighting a fire on Sunday, April 12. Harlow and Hobbs were inside a burning home in Houston trying to rescue an elderly couple. Harlow and Hobbs were unaware the couple had escaped and were safe.
Harlow and Hobbs were from Fire Station 26 in southeast Houston. Hobbs and Harlow were inside the one story home in Oak Vista when they were trapped. It was one hour before their colleagues were able to contain the fire to enter and retrieve their bodies. The firemen tried in vain to resuscitate Hobbs and Harlow.
James Harlow and Damion Hobbs, RIP.
